Dear Sanctuary Family:

It’s been said that you never know what a day may bring, and that was certainly true on Tuesday!  The Parmer Lane Fire will not soon be forgotten. We are incredibly grateful for God’s miraculous protection of our church campus, and we are so thankful to be able to worship together in-person this Sunday at 10:30am.  It’s Back-to-School Sunday, and we will have school supplies for all K-12 students in attendance.

As of this morning, the fire was finally 100% contained. Since Tuesday night, we have been working diligently to remove smoke from the church’s interior, and we have been successful in that regard. For these reasons, it is now safe for us to have in-person service this weekend. Praise God!  When we gather together on Sunday, we are excited to share more with you about how the mighty hand of God spared our church building.

We are also so thankful for the amazing response by Cedar Park Fire and Police, as well as other first responders who came in from all over the state. It is a remarkable testament to their hard work that there was no loss of life in this wildfire. In the coming weeks, we will be delivering treats to these fire departments as a small token of our thanks, so if you would like to assist with those efforts, please let us know.

Our church community continues to lift up in prayer those whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the fire. We are working with Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) to support victims through financial donations as well as donations of clothing, toiletries, etc.  ADRN is receiving these types of donations at their thrift store, The Hope Family Thrift Store, at 13801 Burnet Road, #200, Austin, TX 78727. The thrift store is open to receive donations on Monday - Saturday from 10AM to 5:30PM.

You can learn more about ways to help with the Parmer Lane Fire through ADRN, including how to give financial donations, at this link:

Thank you for your continued prayers and support!

See you Sunday!
