Dr. Mel & Lisa Reddy
Lead Pastors

Mel and Lisa came to Austin to plant The Sanctuary Church, starting in their living room. Mel hails from metro Vancouver, Canada, and Lisa grew up in Sanford, NC, and are happy Texas transplants.

Pastor Mel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Gateway College, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Greenville College, a Master of Arts in Human Service Counseling from Regent University, and a Master of Theological Studies from Urshan Graduate School of Theology. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree with a focus on Missions, Leadership, and Preaching as a Beeson Scholar at Asbury Seminary.

Pastor Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Kent Christian College, a Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from Meredith College, a Master of Arts in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a Master of Divinity from Urshan Graduate School of Theology. She also served as a Fulbright Scholar in South Korea.

The Reddys are both ordained ministers with the United Pentecostal Church International and serve as adjunct professors at Urshan College and Urshan Graduate School of Theology.

Pastor Mel and Pastor Lisa are committed to God, to each other, and to serving others. They are passionate about equipping people to achieve their dreams in God. Their home is full of joy and laughter thanks to their precious miracle from God, Jude Jameson Reddy.
